Looking to 2014. Year of the Shellfish
It’s been a busy autumn. Not a good busy either. The sort of busy where One doesnt’t have time for anything important because One’s tax bill is gigantic and One needs to work hard and save up to pay it off. It’s a sad story… However, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Next year I will be presenting a new work by Studio Barking Dog. ‘Eel and Shellfish’. An emersive, existential musical/visual performance experience featuring animation by the wonderfully talented Gemma Green-Hope and a live score performed on solo acoutic guitar.
I am passionately attached to the piece. I fear for it’s well being out in the cold hard world. But the time has come to set it free, come what may…
First showing will be at ‘Unit 18 Presents!’ 2nd of February 2014. An evening of performance art in Hackney Wick.
